Thinking of getting a tankless? We offer installation and service throughout all of Pickering for both tankless and conventional tank type systems. If you rent your water heater it’s time to move to a systems that you own, and we can give you a great deal and stop the lifelong monthly payments.

Pickering is a great city, it water is taken from Lake Ontario and this is conducive to a new tankless as it has a relatively low dissolved solids content. Pickering has water that reduces the amount of buildup on the inside of a tankless heat exchanger. A tankless has a lifespan of over 20 years.

Here is some quick math on owing a tankless vs purchasing one in Pickering

Rental

Tankless Rental – $39/month

Tankless Lifespan – 20 years

Total = $9,360

Purchased

Purchase Price – $3500 max

Savings - $5860 or more

We offer tankless systems in Pickering installed for around $3000 plus or minus $500. On top of all that a tankless will save you money on your gas bill as it is over 90% efficient verses a regular tank that is at best 60%.

IF your interested in getting a tankless send us some info and we can get you a free quote

It’s December and here in Toronto we have seen basically zero snow and above seasonal temperatures pushing our heating season back by over a month. It’s true we have a strong focus on tankless water heaters but we are also able to install and maintain furnaces within most of the Greater Toronto Area. We like to ensure that you have effective HVAC equipment that is the most suitable system for your home.

Fundamentally high end tankless and furnaces are for the most part very similar to low and mid range units. You are going to get some upgraded parts and whole lot more features on the high end units but will you use those features? I know I purchased a high end dishwasher once; it has a whole bunch of features and a ton of buttons. Of all of those options and buttons I use one, and it’s the same button everyday… START. Keep that in mind when purchasing new home equipment, it’s easy to get caught up in all the features.

We always work with you as the home owner to find something that will fit your budget and most importantly generate savings though efficiency. Even a 12 year old furnace is sufficiently less efficient to justify looking into a new system. Remember that this week the cold is going to set in and bring the chills associated with winter, make sure your prepared and have your furnace inspected today.

If you’re searching for an endless supply of hot water for your home or business, Rinnai tankless water heaters offer you hot water on demand, so you are not stuck with a fixed and pre-heated supply. You can enjoy hot water when you want it and for as long as you want it, so go ahead and do the dishes, run the washing machine and take a long and luxurious bath at the same time. No more worrying about running out of hot water with a Rinnai tankless water heater.

As a Rinnai tankless owner you will enjoy up to 40% energy savings. These units are highly efficient and only heat the water when it is needed. When the demand ceases, the unit shuts down and uses zero energy-a revolutionary advantage over the big and bulky inefficient conventional tanks heaters.

Purchasing a Rinnai tankless water heater, gets you will a reliable and durable copper heat exchanger with a typical life span of 20 or more years (that is twice as long as the old tank water heater’s life span). In addition, the traditional tank water heat accumulates a buildup of rust and sediments that collect in the tank-where the water you drink and bathe is stored. With the Rinnai tankless heaters, no water is stored, so you only get fresh and clean hot water because the water is heated as it passes through the unit.

Being about the size of a small suitcase, the Rinnai tankless unit can be installed on virtually any wall on the inside or outside of your home. Rinnai offers you a line of controllers that makes it very easy to set the hot water temperatures for multiple locations in your house.

(update)

Rinnai Condensing Tankless

Rinnai has a condensing unit out in the market now. This tankless has an efficiency of around 95% and utilizes two heat exchangers to attain the high efficiency rating. Rinnai has maintained the single exhaust vent or concentric piping. This unit will get you the full $375 in available grant money from the Ontario Government. If you want to get a free quote for this Rinnai tankless Contact us Here

Currently the Ontario and Canadian government are giving rebates to households in Ontario that upgrade their conventional water heaters to either a state or a tankless water heater (I realize that state tanks have not really been explained so I will make a point to do a synopsis on them this week). The provincial (Ontario) will give 250$ for any tankless water heater that is installed, the federal government will match that offer which totals the rebate to 500$. This is a good chunk off the purchase and installation of a tankless water heater. State tanks are eligible for 300$ from the federal government and another 300$ from the Ontario government totaling 600$.

Additionally if you live in the Enbridge territory they are offering 300$ off your gas bill for any new tankless water heater installation in your home. Enbridge’s territory consist of most of southern Ontario. Their service territory includes these cities referenced below and a number of others but it would be too long to list:

Barrie

Bolton

Brampton

Caledon

Metro Toronto

Mississauga

Newmarket

Richmond Hill

Whitby

Ontario has a unique market where a significant portion of hot water tanks are rented. As the market for tankless hot water tanks begins to penetrate households there has become a strong demand for rental units for these systems as well. If you decide that renting is a better idea than outright purchasing you are still entitled to the rebates that are offered from both the government and from Enbridge.

There is a small catch though; to prove that you have upgraded you water heating system the Ontario government requires that a homeowner get an energy audit. This is a thorough evaluation of your home and its overall efficiency. Once the first audit is completed, you, the homeowner are sent the results of your audit (SAMPLE REPORT). Now that this is completed you have 18 months to make any renovations, or get your tankless hot water tank installed. After the renovations have been completed you need to get a second audit which will validate that all upgrades have been completed and grant cheques will be sent. Looking for an audit? we can put you in touch with a certified eco energy evaluation company. FIND OUT MORE

This is a bit of a complicated process but if you are looking to upgrade even a few things there are rebates from the Ontario government for almost anything that will make your home more energy efficient.

I hate to get in to this and fuel the recession right now but if money is tight then renting a tankless water heater might be the right thing to do.

A tankless rental works out to be a cheap investment for your home as as the cost for the unit is fixed every month and the amount of natural gas, propane or even electricity consumed is reduced significantly. On top of that a rental system has the installation cost, and the venting kit built into the rental price. Currently systems are renting from around 35 to 50 dollars per month. The price does vary according to the size of the unit required for the house. If you live in a 4000 sq foot home you will need a larger tankless than a 2000 sq foot duplex. Is renting a tankless the right option for you? This is really up to your financial situation, the cost of outright purchasing a system is between $1500 and $3500, renting might work out more cost effective in many cases.
