If you live in Brampton and interested in a tankless water heater you have stumbled upon the right site. We can install, service, and maintain all tankless water heaters within Brampton, Ontario. We recommend a Rinnai Tankless system as the homes in Brampton are typically single detached which offer a variety of options for venting the tankless. The Rinnai are also the most reliable of all the systems that we have installed.

Brampton water is considered moderately hard (Source, Peel Region) so it is important if you have a tankless in Brampton to flush your system regularly to reduce the buildup of mineral deposits (flushing your tankless).

Prices for a tankless water heater in Brampton will vary by installer so it pays to shop around and get the best price. I wouldn’t recommend you go with the cheapest quote but probably mid range as thats wehere you will be getting the best install for your ” Buck”.

Live in Brampton and interested in a Tankless quote?

Fill out the form and we can send out a REP who can make sure that the tankless system can even be installed. They can give you a walk though of the process and explain all the cost associated with installing a tankless. This of course is all free for you (unless you buy a tankless then you will have to pay).

So you are interested in getting a tankless water heater, here is a run down of what you can expect if you decide to choose us for the purchase and install.

So you are interested in getting a tankless water heater, here is a run down of what you can expect if you decide to choose us for the purchase and install.

Firstly we send a REP out to your home to assess and determine if a tankless system can even be installed. Tankless water heaters have additional venting and placement codes that have to be met for a system to be installed, on average 20% of homes are unable to vent legally. Next the REP will determine your needs and your water usage, looking at the number of people living there, number of bathrooms, and amount of appliances that require hot water. Then the info is presented to you the home owner and you will need to choose if you want to go for a regular tankless or a high efficiency condensing tankless water heater. All prices and cost will be shown and explained to you for your unique home and venting requirements.

If you decide to go with a tankless and before anything is done, if the home owner chooses we facilitate a home energy audit which costs $325 but gives $630 to $750 back automatically with any tankless install. This reduces the net price on any tankless water heater by $305 to $450 instantly, not to mention if you decide to perform any additional upgrades on your home (toilets, windows, furnace, air conditioner, insulation, etc) your able to receive the grants available from the government on those upgrades. OK, so energy audit is done.

Your old tank is removed and the new tanklesswater heater is installed, this takes roughly 3-5 hours depending difficulty. If you are on a rental contract for your old tank type water heater we will take care of all paper work and have the tank returned so you are not charged for it. If you owned the old tank we take it away and dispose of it properly (unless you want it for some reason).

Thats Pretty much what happens when you decide to have a tankless water heater installed with us. If you want further info fill out the form here and we can call or email any additional info you are looking for

Looking to get a Toronto Tankless water heater? We have been installing these units in Toronto and surrounding areas for years now. We have installed nearly every brand and can service anything that has been installed already. So if your thinking of getting a tankless water heater in Toronto give us a call or fill out a contact form, its a free quote, at the very least you will have an idea of what one of these tankless units cost.

Venting a tankless in Toronto can be very difficult as there are a lot of requirements and specifications that have to be met before an installation can even begin. In fact I would bet that around 40% of toronto / GTA homes cant even get a tankless system. Does your home meet the requirements and thus 750$ in government rebates? Toronto and surrounding area homes that meet tankless installation requirements receive 750 dollars in government rebates.

Fill out the form below and find out for free if you meet the requirements.

We have been in this business for quite a while now and these are some of our feelings and issues…..

If you’re out getting quotes for new tankless water heaters and some company or sales person quotes you anything less than 2000 dollars Canadian for the entire job parts & labor, watch out! It’s probably (and likely) to good to be true. There’s a good chance you’re going to be one of the next victim of “To good to be true pricing”. If you do end up having a problem it will cost you twice as much to correct the issue than it would have if you had if you had the unit installed correctly the first time.

Don’t forget about the extra costs, a high quality tankless water heaters system designed for a small home will cost at least 1,200 dollars. You have additional costs also you need to consider when you have decided to make the purchase. Remember…..

valve kit

Gas line

Exhaust piping

Condensate pump

Gas termination plates

Strap hangers

Water piping

Brass, and copper fittings

Electrical outlet (if there’s not one nearby)

On top of that you have the labour, in general a Tankless should be able to be installed in half a day.

The Discount Tankless Water Heater

If a friend or someone you know says they can install a tankless water heater for a “few hundred bucks” remember its not a deal, these systems can be VERY specific in terms of gas or water pressure and it will probably end up costing you more to get a certified installer out to fix the job.

If your father or father in law was a plumber in the Navy 40 years ago, please don’t let him install your tankless water heater!

If a young relative or friend just got out of plumbing school, do not let them install your tankless water heater!

If your getting estimates for a new tankless water heater, and the installer cannot show you at least one picture of a previous tankless water heater installation he or she did, do not hire that person as your installer.

If the sales person shows up at your home and doesn’t bother to look around to make sure the installation will go by checking gas lines, venting location, installation site, etc do not let that person install your new tankless water heater!

Please Note: Tankless water heaters often cannot be installed due to building and plumbing codes in Ontario and Canada, additionally there are specific manufacturing requirements all installs must meet.

DO NOT BUY A TANKLESS WATER HEATER FROM HOME DEPOT OR ANOTHER BIG BOX STORE!!!
The units they offer provide the least hot water on the market. Nearly 65% of all tankless water heater bought from Home Depot were returned (2008 – 2009 figure). People think they’re getting a “good deal” but they most likely will end up with major headaches.

Leave tankless water heaters to the pros.

We install Tankless in Toronto, Tankless in Hamilton, Tankless in Mississauga, Tankless in Etobicoke, Tankless in Richmond Hill, Tankless in Markham, Tankless in Bolton, Tankless in Rexdale, Tankless in Brampton and many other locations.

Follow this link and see if a tankless can even be installed in your home and if it can we can provide a Free quote on a tankless system for you.

The T-H2 can provide upwards of three showers’ worth of water simultaneously in colder climates.

The T-H2 can be vented with PVC, providing 0 clearance for DV installations. PVC venting can be used in all applications and apparently Takagi says that 3″ exhaust venting is now available (previously it required a 3″ intake and a 4″ exhaust).

The primary heat exchanger is made of “Heat Resistant Alloy” HRS35 Copper, Takagi has also added a “High Corrosion Resistant Stainless Steel” #316L secondary heat exchanger to recover waste heat from the vent stack before it leaves the unit to preheat the incoming ground water. This second heat exchanger and the resulting condensation that forms from the high efficiency operation, classify it as a “Condensing” Water Heater.

As we all know Canada can has winter, and this affects our ground water temperature. The higher the tankless has to heat ground water up the lower the output flow of hot water is. Ontario’s ground water fluctuates with the coldest temperatures occurring in February and the warmest is September. Toronto, Hamilton, Brampton, Scarborough, Mississauga for example are places that rarely see ground water temperatures dip below 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Thus its safe to assume a minimum of 4.6GPM in the worst of conditions.

Navian Tankless water heaters have a significant advantage in their venting requirements. For the Navian system to meet code it only need to be vented with conventional PVC piping. This results in a significant cost savings for the consumer or Navian tankless owner. The required pipe can be purchased at your local Home Depot or hardware store. In addition if you purchase the system from a certified installer or dealer they are able to pass the savings on to you, reducing the overall cost.

The reason that conventional piping can be used is due to the Navian system recycling so much of the heat that the exhaust gasses being released are basically just warm air. This reduces the risk of fire and allows for more versitile venting options.

If your considering a tankless water heater, take another look at the Navian systems they are full of unique innovations other companies are trying to match.

Rinnai’s condensing water heating technology offers all of the lifestyle benefits of traditional tankless water heaters which includes continuous hot water and the ability to run multiple hot water appliances at the same time coupled with even greater energy savings. Rinnai’s unique condensing design incorporates two innovative heat exchangers to achieve optimum water heating value from every cubic foot of natural gas or propane, and the units are ENERGY STAR qualified. The condensing process delivers up to 95 percent thermal efficiency, which translates to significant energy savings when compared to traditional gas tank water heaters. Available in four models, the condensing tankless water heaters are designed to meet the needs of mid to large sized homes and can be banked for even greater capacity. Like all Rinnai tankless water heaters, the condensing tankless water heaters contain commercial grade heat exchangers, making them an ideal choice for both residential and commercial applications.

In addition to the units’ lifestyle and energy saving benefits, the Rinnai condensing tankless water heaters utilize a unique concentric venting system that is specifically designed for gas appliance venting. This results in an overall safer and easier to install product. The concentric venting design is a safer option for consumers due to the use of a polypropylene inner pipe, which is designed to withstand varying flue temperature conditions that may be experienced over the life of a product. Also, since Rinnai’s concentric venting system uses just one pipe that is fit and locked into place without glues or solvents with expandable gasket seals at pipe joints, the risk of gaps is virtually eliminated, further contributing to the safety of the system; plus, installers appreciate the simplified, quicker installation afforded by the single pipe.

Note: Since this is a condensing tankless, the exhaust gases are significantly cooler and thus conventional PVC pipe can be used for venting. This is significantly cheaper than the current stainless steel vent requirements of non-condensing units.

The largest difference between a tankless and a conventional tank type system is that, while a tank can supply a large amount of hot water for a short period, a tankless water heater provides a smaller amount limitlessly. Thus with a tank type water heater you can run all your taps and showers and have all the hot water you want…. Well until the tank runs dry, and that shouldn’t take long. With the tankless system you can open all the taps to the capacity of the tankless, and have hot water for as long as you want. Yet if the system was undersized or sees demand beyond its designed capacity, your water will only be lukewarm.

In fact that’s really about the only thing that can go wrong on a tankless water heater, and realistically its not even the fault of the heater. This usually occurs when customers don’t take the time to really understand how a tankless hot water system works. It’s also cause by people trying to get the best deal or cheaping out and having a dealer install a smaller unit.

A tankless water heater has a certain capacity that has to be carefully calibrated to make sure that it can handle the highest load that a house can produce. A smaller sized tank may be able to handle only a gallon of hot water a minute (about one shower). If you have a larger family or home that has multiple showers you will need a much larger system.

Any contractor trained in tankless hot water heater installation will be able to give your situation and home the best advice on which model to choose.
